Golden Bronze Makeup Tutorial

  • Foundation: For foundation I am using the Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC25 and pressing that into my skin using a damp beauty blender. I usually start by applying the foundation in the middle of my face and blending it outward to achieve a more natural finish.
  • Concealer: For concealer I am using the Mac Prolong Wear Concealer in the shade NC20 and I am placing that underneath my eyes, on my forehead, nose, and chin and blending everything out with my damp beauty blender. Since this concealer is so long wearing and offers so much coverage this isn’t a concealer I would use everyday but its definitely good if you want your makeup to stay on and last all day long.
  • Powder: To set my makeup I am using the Makeup Forever HD Pressed Translucent Powder and I am just placing that under my eyes and on my T-Zone. I love this powder because it is very light and keeps my makeup lasting all day.
  • Contour: I am contouring my face using the Mac Bronzer in Matte Bronze using an angled brush. I am just placing this contour powder underneath my cheek bones, on my temples, and on my chin. I also bring this bronzer down my neck just a bit and blend everything out so there are no harsh lines.
  • Blush: For blush I am using the Nyx Cream Blush in the color Tickled. This is a gorgeous peachy-pink cream blush with a subtle hint of golden shimmer. This blush looks so natural on the skin, all I do is pop it on the apples of my cheeks and blend it upwards.
  • Highlight: For highlighter I am using the Mary Lou Manizer from The Balm Cosmetics. This has been my go-to product lately because it really brightens up my complexion. I take that on a small brush and place it on the tops of my cheekbones for added dimension and highlight.
  • Brows: For brows I am using the Tarte Emphaseyes Eye Brow Pencil. This is my favorite brow product of the moment because it glides on so smoothly and lasts all day. It also has a very fine tip making filling in your eyebrows so easy. I just groom them out using the spooly side of the eye brow pencil then I use short soft strokes to lightly fill in any sparse areas and blend them out again using the spooly side.
  • Eyeshadow: For eyeshadow I am using the Nude Dude Pallet from The Balm Cosmetics which has been another new obsession lately. I am taking the shade Faithful which is a golden champagne shade and placing that all over my lid. I am then going in which a sparkly brown shade in the color Firm and working that into my crease with a fluffy brush. On a smaller pencil brush I am taking the shade Fine and I am focusing that on my outer corner. I am then going back in with a clean fluffy brush and blending everything out. Lastly, I am using the color Fabulous which is a golden tone cream highlight shade and I am placing that underneath my brow bones and on the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up and pull the look together.
  • Eyeliner: I am using two different eyeliners for this look. To start I am taking The Balms Mr. Write Now Eyeliner pencil in the shade Jack and running that along my lower lash line. Then I am going in with the L’Oreal Felt Tip Liquid Liner in Black and I am just doing a thin line on my upper lash line.
  • Mascara/Falsies: To prep my eyelashes for falsies I am going to give my eyelashes a quick curl with the Revlon Eyelash Curler then I am going to apply a few coats of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Once my eyelash glue has become tacky enough I am placing the Ardell Demi Wispie eyelashes on top of my natural eyelashes. I am then taking my Sally Hansen tweezers and using those to adjust and press down my falsies.
  • Lips: I am lining and slightly filling in my lips using the Covergirl Lipliner in the shade Radiant. I am following that up with the Balms Read My Lips Lipgloss in the shade Zap! I love this lip gloss because it smells and feels amazing!
