Morning Skincare- Haley

Beauty, Blog

I have normal/combination and acne prone skin. These are the steps I take in the morning for my skincare routine.

  • Step 1- Cleanse: I cleanse my skin using the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Facial Cleanser. This cleanser is amazing because it removes dirt, oil, and makeup without stripping your skin. The best part is that it smells like grapefruit, orange, and tangerine!

  • Step 2- Tone: I tone my face using the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2. This is a great product for removing excess dirt, oil, and makeup while refining pores and removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. This product is also great because it leaves a cool, refreshing and hydrating finish to your skin.

  • Step 3- Serum: To deeply hydrate and nourish the skin I use an antioxidant rich brightening serum enriched with Vitamin C, the Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster by Ole Henriksen. It has a light weight, oil free formula with Vitamin C complex to support natural collagen production, brighten, and minimize fine lines. It also has an amazing an uplifting citrus scent.

  • Step 4- Eye Balm: My eyes are usually pretty tired in the mornings so I love using a cooling eye balm like the Boscia Super Cool De-Puffing Eye Balm. It has a silky smooth formula that glides on with super cooling hydration that helps diminish puffiness, dark circle, and fine lines. It also has licorice root extract that leaves your under eyes feeling so cool and refreshed.

  • Step 5- Lotion: To hydrate my skin in the mornings I like to use a cream with SPF like the Ole Henriksen Vitamin C Super Creme SPF 15. This cream is perfect for all skin types and hydrates while leaving the skin with a light sheen and luminous glow.

  • Step 6- Lip Balm: I love hydrating my lips with the Smiths Strawberry Lip Balm. Its ultra hydrating and leaves your lips silky smooth for hours! It also has a light sweet scent of strawberry with minimal ingredients for hydrated, healthy lips.
